According to Wikipedia, "A Peter Pan collar is a style of clothing collar, flat in design with rounded corners. It is named after the collar of Maude Adams' costume in her 1905 role as Peter Pan.

The Peter Pan collar was also popular in the 60s. Today Catholic schools girls sometimes wear white shirts with Peter Pan Collars.
